Carmine A Bossio, a lifelong resident
of the South Hills; is no stranger to the art of baking, retail sales, and
food services. Completion of an AD in Science and undergraduate studies at
the University of Pittsburgh was the starting point . His current position
is now a culmination of more than 20 years experience starting with retail
sales then as a baker, progressing into both “working” management and
supervisory roles in retail sales and bakery food services for a chain of
retail stores. This ultimately evolved into lead baker and now co-owner for
“The Pie Place.” Carmine is honored to continue with the tradition of
providing high quality, signature scratch pies and pastries to residents
of the South Hills and surrounding communities.
